The Minis are singing out and singing well! They're going to do great at the concert. They sang through all the songs in their show. They really know their stuff! Well, almost, but we have four weeks to strengthen up their weaker pieces.
The Littles ran through all of their show as well, with the helper girls leading a few of the songs. They did really well despite missing quite a few kids. Then again, we're always missing some people during spring break.
The Childrens Choir sang almost all of their songs and practised their timing for "Happiness". Unfortunately, they were also missing a lot of singers, but they still did well. Next time, I might have to review the choreography for "Little Known Facts", "My Blanket and Me" and "Suppertime", just to make sure they've got it down. After all, they have to get used to doing it without my help so they're prepared for the concert, and as I said earlier, they only have four more rehearsals!
The Youth ran through "Born This Way", "Wings To Fly", and some of "Hands", and learned the sign language for "Hands". We also practised doing improvised bullying scenes. CM has decided to take a different approach to the scenes, and just today has written something up that I think will be a great help.
On Saturday, April 6, we're making crafts! Should be fun.
