Now, I wasn't feeling entirely well that night, so pretty much the whole night after the Littles rehearsal ended felt like kind of a blur. I remember what we did, but not the exact order...
The Minis started by playing the Hokey Pokey, then started learning their opening song, "A Honey of a Holiday". They then had their first puppet show of the year, and started learning "Cover The World With Love" complete with sign language as well as "Santa is the Man".
The Littles started by learning the actions for "Jingle Bell Swing", as well as practicing "Holiday Zoobilee" and "Cover The World With Love". They had a puppet show too, which introduced another new puppet, and later reviewed "Jingle Bell Swing".
Children's Choir began with them learning "We Are The Toys", then all the Littles and Minis and Youth in the hall whose parents were at the AGM gathered to practice "Cover The World With Love" together, after which they performed a snippet of it for the parents. Then, Children's Choir finished learning their song, and did some work on the reindeer's acting scene, after which they started to learn the reindeer's song.
The Youth started with a review of Scene 7, then I took Scene 1 out into the hallway. We were unfortunately missing our Snow Queen, but I think CM and I did a very good job of filling in for her. They also learned the choreography for "Sisters" and sang through "Grown Up Christmas List". Then, we reviewed all the scenes we'd worked on so far, and we worked on "Moonlight Sleigh Ride".
Well, that's all I've got for today. One of these days, I'll post the new puppet list now that we've introduced pretty much all the new puppets. I hope I have enough time in between choirs and homework...
