The Minis reviewed some of their songs, had a puppet show about speaking loud and clear into the mic, and then put what they learned from the puppets into practice while trying out their lines for the Littles' show for the first time. The lines are on their CDs to help them practice!
The Littles had a similar puppet show, and ran through the first chunk of their show with lines and songs. They also learned most of their finale, "Shout!".
The Children's Choir reviewed a bunch of scenes and songs in show order, and almost made it all the way through before rehearsal was over.
The Youth tried doing a full run of their show, which was quite well done despite the fact that a) we hadn't staged all the scenes and b) not everyone was there. We'll try and speed up the staging process over the next few rehearsals so that we get more time to work on doing the show in order, which means that the people going out to work in the hallway need to be focused--not that they didn't need to be focused before, of course.
The next rehearsal lands the day before Halloween, so please please feel free to dress up for the evening! I already have a costume picked out (and yes, it will be different from my costume on the day of--I'm serious about this holiday, okay?).
