The poor Minis, whose numbers are small to begin with, were missing most of their choir. They still had fun, though! I read them a story and later KS and RJ put on a puppet show for them about not being scared by the Grinch. We also practised a lot of songs despite our small numbers.
The Littles were in a similar predicament, but nevertheless sung very well. They too received the story and puppet show given to the Minis.
Luckily, the Children were missing less singers (but still enough to make a dent!) and sang very well as usual. No puppet show for them, though! Those kids aren't scared of anything, least of all the Grinch.
The Youth choir missed quite a few people as well, but it did not hinder us one bit. We sang Walking In The Air with ribbon choreo, and I think it's going to look really cool at the concert. We also did some work on Dinner Bell Carol, In The Candlelight, and many others! Everything is really coming along, for every choir!
Now, I'd like to remind you all that this was our last rehearsal at J.J. Nearing school, and next rehearsal we will be at Bellerose instead.
Also, I'm afraid that there might not be many more pictures added to the blog. The site editor starts acting up every time I try to add more... I'll try and figure it out. Maybe I should just stop using Weebly?
