The Minis started off the evening by singing all their songs and practising their sound effects for "Honeyguide's Revenge". They also got to play some fun games!
The Littles sang a whole bunch of their songs as well, and rehearsed their reader's theatre piece. Later, they got to hear one last story from Mama Mary--this story will be told in the concert, so I won't spoil it for the parents here!
The Children's Choir did much of the same, singing through most if not all of their songs and rehearsing their reader's theatre piece. They also had a mini-competition with the Youth choir on some of their together pieces to see who had them memorized the best. It ended in a draw. They too listened to Mama Mary's story, along with the Youth choir present.
The Youth then sang through a large portion of their songs, went over a few of their reader's theatre pieces, practised the gumboot dance, and had a discussion about next year's concerts.
Okay, it's back to studying for me now! Fortunately I'll be all done by the next rehearsal, so the next log should come out more promptly.
