This week we had a special guest, Mama Mary, who is going to be a semi-regular feature this term telling us African folktales.
The Littles ran through "Muziki Vuma", "Circle of Life", and learned actions for "Rhythm of the Rain"
The Children's Choir did "Circle of Life" and "Firefly", and started learning "Rhythm of the Rain".
The Youth choir sang "We Are One" with (almost) all the sign language, ran through "Watu Wote" and "Kwaheri Angu Rafiki", and discussed options for how to tell African folktales on stage at the concert.
Mama Mary, who told each choir the story of the Tree of the Animals at this last rehearsal, will be back in two weeks to tell us all another tale!
