The Minis reviewed the songs they learned last week, and started on a new song. They also watched a puppet show and played a few games.
The Littles finally met their Ursula, AN. She was out of costume the entire time we had CM interview her, and she remained so for her test performance of "Poor Unfortunate Souls". The singers seemed to like it, and some of the kids even sang along! I think getting used to Ursula is going to be a lot easier than getting used to the Grinch...
The Childrens Choir rehearsed privately, with the minimum possible number of distractions. I was told that they had much better focus, and that they worked intensively on staging "Gaston".
The Youth finished running through their mini-show, and started to learn the all-together finale song, "Ever Ever After". Those of you present at the last rehearsal know that there were some MAJOR discrepancies with the lyrics sheet and the CD, which was due to some miscommunication between CM and myself (but mostly it was my fault, since I'm the one who typed up the lyric sheet... sorry about that). Not to worry, we (by which I mean I) am going to redo the lyric sheet ASAP! We'll hand out a revised copy next rehearsal. Until then, try looking for the lyrics online or simply listen to the CD and try to pick up the lyrics that way.
