The Minis continued learning "Jambo Rafiki", rehearsed "Siyahamba" and "I Just Can't Wait To Be King", and had a puppet show to help rehearse "Kye Kye Kule". They also played their usual games.
The Littles practised "Wakati Wa Amani", "Circle of Life" "I Just Can't Wait To Be King", "Muziki Vuma", "I Paradisi", and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". The last of those songs had actions introduced through a puppet show, which also introduced another new puppet--Georgie the Giraffe. They also practised their reader's theatre piece.
The Children's Choir practised "Firefly", "Circle of Life", and "Hakuna Matata". They too rehearsed their reader's theatre piece and learned the actions to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
The Youth choir reviewed the gumboot dance to start. They also rehearsed "Wakati Wa Amani", "I Paradisi", "Kwaheri Angu Rafiki", and "We Are One". CM had intended for them to rehearse their respective reader's theatre pieces, but there were people missing from each group, and so instead she introduced them to some new songs that may be added into the show. ("Nomali", "Shumayela", and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight") They later learned the actions for "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
Hopefully next rehearsal we will have everyone there to go over the new things we've learned!
