Dec. 3rd was our first rehearsal with the musicians! Every choir ran through all their songs and lines (or at least, the majority of their songs and all of their lines).
Tonight was our dress rehearsal at the St. Albert United Church, which went well. The Children got to practice singing "The Polar Express" with the actual train! Well, okay, it's an electric scooter with a cardboard train... thing over it. And of course, everyone got the chance to practice speaking into actual microphones.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show! I believe it's now sold out, though I'm sure we'll have a few people who can't make it--which really just means that we'll be able to squeeze a few other people in!
Wish me luck on my exam tomorrow, everyone--after all, if I don't finish it quickly enough, we'll have to hold the 'curtain' until I get there. That's right, I have my first final exam of the term two hours before the concert. Whee...
