I was out of the room for Minis, helping at the front desk, but I'm told they enjoyed their puppet show as always, and they moved from their alphabet square onto the risers. They also tried saying some of their lines and reviewed songs.
The Littles reviewed songs and lines, learned more sign language for "The Gifts of Christmas", and had a puppet show about speaking up, speaking out, and speaking clearly. I was in and out of this rehearsal (still helping at the front) but I'm told the lines are really coming along!
The Children's Choir reviewed some scenes and worked on a number of songs. They're doing very well, especially with the hat and cane choreography! I can't wait to try their show in order to see how it all fits together.
The Youth reviewed and worked on a scene, then focused the rest of the rehearsal on reviewing songs and learning battery-operated candle choreography for "Candle in Your Heart". For the workshop next week I'm thinking we'll forego what the rehearsal schedule might say and try to stage the remainder of the scenes so that for the remainder of our Thursday rehearsals we'll be able to go through the show as a whole.
Next week we have our regular Thursday rehearsal as well as a daytime workshop on Saturday the 24th!
