Anywho, the Minis are starting rehearsal this week!
Last week, the Littles worked on the songs they'd looked at last time, adding sword choreography to "The Pirate's Life". They also had a puppet show about the importance of practicing!
The Children's Choir worked on one of their song 'bits', with hat and cane choreography, and reviewed what they'd worked on last time as well.
The Youth received their roles and rehearsal schedule, and worked on two scenes as well as on "The Sleigh", "Holiday Lights" (with flashlight choreo), and a few other songs. We were missing quite a few people but I'm confident they'll catch up easily!
Oh, and one more thing--in Youth we had a puppet show to celebrate the 17th birthday of one of our longstanding members and Youth helpers, Tanner! He's been with the choirs for about 9 or 10 years (it's been so long we all lost track) and has come with an excitement and passion for music and performance that infects those around him for every single one of those years. He's a fixture of these choirs as much as I am by now! If you missed last week, be sure to wish him a happy belated birthday.
