The Littles were the first to arrive, followed by Minis, then Children's Choir and Youth. Each choir got the chance to sing a few of their alone songs for the others, and everyone got to make a craft as well. The Minis got to decorate medals made from old choir CDs with stickers showing favourite Disney characters. The Littles made snowmen (like Olaf in Frozen) out of marshmallows and other fun foodstuffs, and they also made fish decorations (like Flounder in The Little Mermaid) out of old choir CDs! The Children's Choir also made edible snowmen, and they also decorated canvas tote bags.
Some of the Youth also got to make the same crafts as the littler ones (namely the helpers, who were of course helping at each craft station), and all the Youth then made their own craft--signs with encouragements and advice for when they reviewed their scenes, which they started on immediately after. Now, I had to leave the rehearsal at that time, but I'm told everything went well, and that the Youth managed to run the full show, though there were some difficulties with actions for some of the songs that I lead. I got back just in time to do the final scene and then attend the helper meeting, where we discussed plans for next year.
We're down to the wire now, but I'm confident that everyone knows their stuff.
Don't prove me wrong, guys.
